Terms of Use
Effective October 12, 2026. Version 3.
- CuddleCue is a planner and a logbook. It records what you enter and does the arithmetic. It does not give medical advice and never tells you what to do for your baby.
- You own what you log. The people you invite to your household can see it. You can download all of it at any time, free of charge, and delete your account whenever you like.
- CuddleCue Plus is optional. The App Store or Google Play bills it at the price they show and it renews until you cancel it there. The free plan stays a working app.
- CueCoins are optional stickers that open the app with a tap. They hold no information about you or your baby, and the app works the same without them.
- Be kind in the community. There is no place there for abuse or objectionable posts, and posts that break the rules are removed. Keep other people’s information private, and use the app only for a child in your care.
1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and BP&C Creative Studio, LLC, the company that makes CuddleCue. You can reach us at cuddlecue@bpnc.app, and our website is bpnc.app.
2. What these terms cover
These terms cover the CuddleCue app for iOS and Android, CuddleCue Plus, CueCoins, the website, and the support we provide. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy, which you can read in the app under Your profile, and which explains what we collect and why. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Anyone 13 or older can create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live (18 in most places), a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
3. What CuddleCue is, and what it is not
CuddleCue is a shared day planner and logbook for a baby’s care. It records the feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping sessions, medicines, growth measurements and other entries that you and the people you invite type in, keeps the schedule you set, and shows totals, times and reminders worked out from those entries.
It is not a medical device, a medical service, or a source of medical advice, and using it does not create a relationship with a doctor, nurse, midwife or lactation consultant. Nothing in the app diagnoses, treats, monitors or assesses your baby, you, or anyone else.
Milk storage windows and immunization schedules are shown from published guidance, with the source and its date, for you to read. They are general information, not a recommendation for your child.
Always rely on your own judgment and on the professionals who care for your family. If you are worried about a baby’s health, contact a healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Reminders are delivered by your phone and can be delayed, silenced or missed — by the phone, by its settings, or by a lost connection. Do not rely on the app as the only reminder for anything that matters, such as a medicine.
Every amount the app shows for a medicine, a feed or anything else is the amount a person entered. The app never calculates a dose.
4. Your account
Give us an email address that is yours and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised.
One account is for one person. Each caregiver in a household has their own sign-in; the app is built so that nobody has to share a password.
We may refuse, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to harm someone, or that we are required by law to close. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.
5. Your household and the people you invite
When you create a household you become its owner. When you invite someone, they see the household’s entries according to the role you give them, and they can add entries of their own. You are responsible for who you invite and for having the right to share the information about the child with them. Anyone you invite must accept these terms too.
You can change a person’s role or remove them at any time. Some entries, such as a pumping session a person marks as private, are visible only to the person who logged them; the household’s milk stash totals stay shared.
6. Your content
Everything you enter — names, entries, notes, photos, lists — is yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store it, keep it in sync between the members of your household, back it up, show it back to you, and produce the downloads and summaries you ask for. We do not use it for anything else.
You promise that you have the right to enter what you enter, including a child’s details and photo, and that it does not break the law or someone else’s rights.
You can download everything you have logged, in a machine-readable format, at any time and on every plan, free of charge.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to do anything unlawful, to harm or harass anyone, or to enter information that is misleading or that you have no right to share. Do not try to reach another household’s data, interfere with the service, probe its security, copy it, or resell it.
In the community, follow the community guidelines at https://cuddlecue.com/community-guidelines. Be respectful. Do not post anything hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, violent or otherwise objectionable, do not post other people’s personal information, do not advertise or spam, and do not give medical advice to other parents. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive users.
A post that may break these rules can be held back automatically until a person has reviewed it. Every post has a report control, and you can block anyone. A person reviews every report, usually within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or permanently end the community access of anyone who posts it. Posts are written by other parents, not by us, and are not medical advice.
8. CuddleCue Plus
CuddleCue Plus is an optional subscription that adds features described in the app. You buy it through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store shows the price in your currency, takes the payment, and handles renewal, refunds and cancellation under its own terms. We never see your card details.
A subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The app will never stand in the way of canceling.
A new household can have 14 days of CuddleCue Plus at no charge. They start when the owner or a parent of the household chooses to start them in the app, not when an account is created; a caregiver or a member who can only view cannot start them. For a baby who is not born yet, they can be started once the birth has been recorded in the app. They are given once per household and never twice for the same email address. They need no card and there is nothing to cancel: they end by themselves, the household continues on the free plan, and nothing is deleted.
What CuddleCue Plus includes may change over time, and we will tell you before a change takes effect. Logging, timers, reminders, sharing with your household, light and dark mode, and the full download of your data are never behind CuddleCue Plus.
9. The free plan
The free plan is a working app, not a trial. Nothing you have logged is deleted when a subscription ends. Entries older than the free plan’s history window are kept and are shown again if you subscribe.
10. CueCoins
CueCoins are adhesive NFC coins sold separately. Each one carries a web address and nothing else — no name, no account, no information about you or your baby. Holding a phone near a coin opens the CuddleCue app on the entry that coin is for, ready for you to fill in and save.
A coin does nothing on its own. It is a shortcut into the app, not a replacement for it and not a substitute for a subscription: everything a coin opens is free to use, and the app works exactly the same without one.
A coin is not a medical device, a monitor or an alarm. It opens a form. Nothing is recorded until you save it, and what is saved is what you entered — section 3 applies to an entry made from a coin exactly as it does to any other.
Because a coin carries only a web address, anyone who can physically reach it can read it. Put one where you are happy for it to be read. Once a coin is locked it cannot be rewritten, which is what stops a coin on your wall being pointed somewhere else; locking is permanent.
A coin needs a phone that can read NFC tags and has the app installed. We do not control whether a particular phone, operating system version or case will read one. If a future version of the app no longer handles what a coin is for, the app will tell you so rather than record the wrong thing.
The sale, price, delivery and return of CueCoins, and any warranty on the coins themselves, are set out where you buy them and are not part of these terms. Nothing in these terms affects the rights the law gives you as a consumer when you buy goods.
11. Changes
We improve the app continuously and may add, change or remove features. We may also change these terms. If a change is material, we will show it in the app and ask you to accept the new terms before you continue. If you do not accept them, you can stop using the app and delete your account.
12. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Your data is removed after a 14-day window during which you can change your mind by signing in again; after that it is permanently deleted, as the privacy policy describes.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we are required to. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
13. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every reminder will arrive on time. It is not medical advice, and we make no promise about any outcome for you or your baby.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, BP&C Creative Studio, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of the United States in which BP&C Creative Studio, LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere whose consumer laws give you rights or a choice of court that these terms cannot take away, those rights apply.
If something goes wrong, write to cuddlecue@bpnc.app first — most problems are fixed that way. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us is heard by the courts of that state, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
16. App stores
Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no obligation to maintain or support the app. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also follow the store’s terms.
17. General
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the app. If a part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer your account or this agreement to someone else. If we do not act on a breach at once, we have not given up the right to act on it later.
18. Contact
BP&C Creative Studio, LLC. Email cuddlecue@bpnc.app. The current version of these terms is always in the app, under About, and at bpnc.app.
