Delete your CuddleCue account

CuddleCue is made by BP&C Creative Studio. You can delete your account, and what you logged in it, from the app or by email.

In the app

  1. Open CuddleCue and tap your profile picture at the top.
  2. Choose Your profile, then Delete account.
  3. Type delete, then tap Delete my account.

Your account and, if you are its only parent, your household are deleted 14 days after you confirm. Signing in again before then cancels it. That is undo, not a trick.

If another parent is in your household, make them the owner first, under Family. If you are its only parent, the household and everything in it is deleted with your account, and anyone else in it, such as a caregiver, loses access to it.

Your App Store or Google Play subscription is canceled in the store. We will not pretend deleting the account does it for you, and we will link you straight there.

Without the app

Write to cuddlecue@bpnc.app from the email address you sign in with, and ask for your account to be deleted. We may ask you to confirm it is your account.

How long we keep your information

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, everything is removed after a 14-day window during which you can change your mind by signing in again. After the window, your account, photos, devices and preferences are permanently deleted, and so is any household you were the only parent in, with all of its entries; anyone else in it, such as a caregiver, loses access to it. The app says so, and names them, before you confirm. Crash reports are deleted 90 days after they arrive, whether or not you keep your account.

A few records keep only identifiers for as long as the law requires, with your entries removed: payment events for financial record-keeping and security logs. Community posts are removed for every reader and de-identified.

A household with another parent in it continues without you: the entries stay with the household, marked as logged by a member who has left. So does a household you joined as somebody else’s parent, caregiver or viewer.

Before you delete, you can download everything you have logged, free, from Your profile.
