Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026. Version 2.
- We collect what you type into the app and what is needed to run your account. We do not sell it, we show no ads, and we never use it to advertise to you.
- Your household’s entries are shared with the people you invite, with the companies that host and deliver the service for us, and with nobody else unless the law requires it.
- You can download everything and delete your account from inside the app. Deletion is permanent after a 14-day window.
1. Who we are
BP&C Creative Studio, LLC is responsible for the personal information handled by CuddleCue and by our website. Write to us at cuddlecue@bpnc.app, or visit bpnc.app.
2. What we collect
Your account: your email address, your display name, how you sign in (with your email address, your Apple account or your Google account), your time zone, your units and your appearance choices. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider; we never see it and we never store it.
Your household: its name, the name, date of birth and, if you enter it, the due date of each child in your care, the roles of the people you invite, and the invitations you send. If you answer the optional question at setup about where you heard about us, your answer, one of a short list of choices, is kept with your household.
Your entries: feeds and amounts, breastfeeding sessions, sleep, diapers, solids, pumping sessions and output, the milk stash and where it is stored, the medicines and creams you name and the amounts you type, growth measurements, temperatures, baths, playtime, the immunization records you enter, notes, supplies and shopping lists, household to-dos, and the schedule, reminders and quiet hours you set, including who in your household is on duty for the reminders and until when. If you bring your history in from another app, the file is read on your phone and only the entries in it are saved, like any other entry.
Your photos: a photo of each child, and a photo of you for your profile picture, each only if you add one. You can choose one of the app’s own drawings instead, in which case no photo is involved. Photos are shared only with the people in your household, and the app removes a photo’s location and camera details on your phone before it is uploaded.
Your device: a push notification token, the time zone your phone shows times in (so a reminder rings at the right time), the phone model and operating system version, the app version, your notification preferences, and an identifier the app makes for each installation, which is saved with what you log so that changes made on two phones can be told apart. It is not your phone’s advertising identifier, which we never read.
Purchases: whether you have CuddleCue Plus, from which store, and when it renews or ends — reported to us by the store through our subscription processor. We never receive your card number.
The community: what you post, including feature suggestions and the votes you give them, the reports you make, and the people you block. Support: what you send us when you write to us or report a problem in the app; a problem report also carries the app version, whether your phone is an iPhone or Android, its operating system version and its language setting, and the app shows you these before you send it.
Crash reports: when the app runs into an error, it records what went wrong so we can fix it: the error and where in the app’s own code it happened, the app version, your phone’s operating system and version, and the screen that was open. Before a report leaves your phone, names, email addresses, account and entry identifiers, dates and long numbers are taken out of it, and it never contains your entries or your notes. It is sent the next time you open the app signed in, it is not linked to your account, and it is deleted after 90 days.
What we do not collect: analytics about how you use the app, your location, or your contacts. If we ever add aggregate counts of which features are used, we will update this policy first, and those counts will never contain an entry, a name or a photo, or measure the sign-in screens.
3. Why we use it
To provide the app: to store your entries, keep them in sync between the members of your household on their own phones, show totals and schedules, deliver the reminders you asked for, and find and fix errors in the app from crash reports.
To run your account and subscription, to answer your support requests, and to keep the service safe — for example rate limits, the handling of reports in the community, and holding back a community post that may break the community rules until a person has reviewed it.
To learn how families find the app, from the optional answer to where you heard about us, which we look at only as totals across households.
To meet our legal obligations.
Where European or UK data protection law applies, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you; our legitimate interest in running a safe, working service and in learning how people find it; your consent for notifications and for any photo you add, of a child or of yourself, which you can withdraw at any time; and legal obligation.
4. About the information about your baby
Entries about a child’s feeding, sleep, medicines, growth and temperature are sensitive, and you decide what to enter. We use them only to show them back to your household and to do the arithmetic you see in the app. We do not interpret them, we do not profile you or your child, and we never use them for advertising or sell them.
The names and amounts of medicines are stored exactly as you typed them. The app never calculates a dose.
5. Who can see it
The people in your household, according to the role you gave them. An entry a person marks as private, such as a pumping session, is visible only to that person; the household’s milk stash totals are shared.
Other members of the community, if you post there: your posts and replies, shown with your display name. Nothing from your household’s entries appears there unless you type it into a post yourself.
Service providers that process information for us, under contract and only on our instructions: hosting and database (Supabase), sign-in (Supabase Auth, and Apple or Google when you sign in with them), app distribution and payment (Apple and Google), app updates (Expo), subscription processing (RevenueCat), push notification delivery (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android, and Apple Push Notification service on iPhone), and email (Zoho), which delivers account messages such as the sign-up and password emails, and holds the messages you send to our support address.
Authorities, when the law requires it. A buyer, if our business is sold or merged, in which case we tell you first.
Nobody else. We do not sell personal information, we use no advertising networks, and we do not share with data brokers.
6. Where it is stored
Your information is stored on servers in the United States operated by our hosting provider. If you use the app from elsewhere, your information is transferred there; where the law requires it, we rely on standard contractual safeguards for the transfer.
7. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, everything is removed after a 14-day window during which you can change your mind by signing in again. After the window, your account, photos, devices and preferences are permanently deleted, and so is any household you were the only parent in, with all of its entries; anyone else in it, such as a caregiver, loses access to it. The app says so, and names them, before you confirm. Crash reports are deleted 90 days after they arrive, whether or not you keep your account.
A few records keep only identifiers for as long as the law requires, with your entries removed: payment events for financial record-keeping and security logs. Community posts are removed for every reader and de-identified.
A household with another parent in it continues without you: the entries stay with the household, marked as logged by a member who has left. So does a household you joined as somebody else’s parent, caregiver or viewer.
8. Your choices and rights
Inside the app you can download everything you have logged, in a machine-readable format, free of charge and on every plan; correct or delete any entry; change or remove a child’s photo or your own profile picture; turn notifications on and off; and delete your account.
Where European or UK data protection law applies, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and port your information, to object to some processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Where California law applies, you have the right to know, correct and delete, and to not be discriminated against for using those rights; we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
To use any of these rights, write to cuddlecue@bpnc.app. We will answer within the time the law sets, and we may ask you to confirm it is your account.
9. Children
The app is made for the people who care for a baby, and anyone 13 or older can use it. Anyone under the age of majority where they live needs a parent or guardian to agree to our terms for them. The app is not directed to young children, and we do not knowingly let a child under 13 create an account or collect personal information from one. The information about a baby in the app is entered by the people caring for them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Security
Your information is encrypted in transit. Access to every household’s data is enforced in the database itself, so one household cannot read another’s. Passwords are never stored by us. No system is perfectly secure, and if we learn of a breach that affects you we will tell you as the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change is material, we show it in the app and ask you to accept it before you continue.
12. Contact
BP&C Creative Studio, LLC. Email cuddlecue@bpnc.app. The current version of this policy is always in the app, under Your profile, and at bpnc.app.
