Community guidelines

Effective September 27, 2026. Version 1.

  • Be kind. Every parent here is doing their best, usually on very little sleep.
  • Share what happened to you, not medical advice. For your baby’s health, ask your pediatrician.
  • No selling, no advertising and no spam.
  • Keep other people’s personal information out of your posts.
  • Report anything that breaks these rules. A person reads every report.

What the Community is for

The CuddleCue Community is a place for parents and caregivers to ask questions, share what worked for them and keep each other company. It is text only: no photos, no videos and no direct messages.

Anyone in the Community can read what you post, under the name you use in CuddleCue. Post only what you are happy for other parents to read.

Be kind

Disagree with an idea, never with a person. No insults, name-calling, threats or harassment, and no hate: nothing that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age. No sexual content.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive users. Posts that break these rules are removed, and the people who post them lose access to the Community.

No medical advice

Posts come from other parents, not from health professionals. Share your own experience and say that it is yours. Do not tell another parent what dose to give, whether to start or stop a medicine, or what a symptom means.

For your baby’s health, ask your pediatrician. If you are worried that a baby is unwell, call your pediatrician, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.

No selling or spam

Do not advertise, sell, recruit, fundraise or post referral or affiliate links. Do not post the same thing again and again.

Keep personal information private

Do not post anyone else’s personal information: their full name, address, phone number, email address, or anything else that could identify them, and no screenshots of private messages. Think twice before sharing your own, or your baby’s.

How to report a post

Tap Report on any discussion, reply or feature request and choose what is wrong. A person reads every report, and we aim to act on each one within 24 hours. The person you reported is not told who reported them.

To stop seeing someone’s posts straight away, tap Block. They are not told.

You can also write to cuddlecue@bpnc.app.

What happens to posts that break these rules

Before a post appears, it is checked against a short list of words that are never welcome here. A post that matches is held back: nobody else sees it until a moderator has read it, and one that turns out to be fine is released.

A moderator removes posts that break these rules, and can warn the person who posted them, pause their posting for a while, or remove them from the Community for good.

You can delete your own posts and replies at any time.
